Our role:

Independent Certifier services on the extensive student village, involving the creation of 804 bedrooms across 5 towers, with support amenities including kitchens, gym, student union, and external spaces.

The key objective was to:

  • Act independently, yet in support of, all key stakeholders – defending the requirements of the contracts at all times;
  • Deliver attractive, safe, well-built residences in time for the start of the academic year;
  • Deliver exceptional fire safety assurance given the high-rise nature of the towers.

Key Achievements:

  • Maintaining excellent relations between all stakeholders, with issues resolved fairly, swiftly and comprehensively
  • Ensuring that the entire complex was rigorously inspected, with all critical defects resolved in time for when students moved in.
